Call for Entries

You are invited to submit films and showcase your work at our events which are held at various venues around London.

Entry Criteria

We welcome films that:

  • address South Asian peoples’ concerns and experiences from around the world;
  • investigate the history, present and future of anywhere within the Indian subcontinent;
  • explore the genres of South Asian cinema and Bollywood cinema;
  • are by filmmakers of any ethnicity, nationality and experience – provided they fulfil the criteria above;
  • are from any genre (including: documentary, drama, comedy, animation, music video etc) – provided they fulfil the criteria above;
  • are by South Asian filmmakers (or those of South Asian descent) on any subject.

Deadline

Since we often stage events throughout the year, you can submit at any time – but to participate in our next available event, please submit by: Monday 7 June 2010.

Format

DVD disk, PAL standard, UK format

Duration

Short Films: Up to 15 – 20 minutes
Features: Up to 90 – 120 minutes
We may consider slightly longer films. If in doubt, please get in touch.)
